Our story

This podcast started with a question I couldn't answer.

I Seek Serenity wasn't born from having it all figured out. It was born from the middle of the mess — and the stubborn belief that there had to be a way through.

The Host

Creator & Host, I Seek Serenity

I know what it feels like to be lost. Not metaphorically — genuinely, deeply lost. I've sat with addiction, with purposelessness, with the kind of quiet despair that doesn't announce itself. And I've also sat on the other side of it, not because I found some magic answer, but because I kept moving.

I started this podcast because I couldn't find the conversation I needed. Every resource felt clinical, or preachy, or written for someone else. I wanted something honest. Something that would meet me where I was — not where someone thought I should be.

So I made it. For the teenager who doesn't know how to say they're struggling. For the adult who thought they'd have it figured out by now. For anyone in recovery who needs to hear that the path forward is real, even when it's invisible.

"
I didn't start this podcast because I had answers. I started it because I was tired of pretending the questions didn't exist.

Our values

What we believe

Honesty before hope

We don't skip the hard part. Real change starts with telling the truth about where you are.

Moving toward, not just away

Running from pain is survival. Walking toward something is living. We help people find what they're walking toward.

Every age, every stage

Serenity isn't just for adults who've already been through it. Children, teens, and young adults deserve this conversation too.

Community over isolation

The journey is harder alone. We build spaces where people can be heard, seen, and accompanied.

The journey

How it started

The beginning

A single conversation with a teenager who said 'I just don't know what I'm supposed to be moving toward.' That question became the seed of everything.

The first episode

Recording in a spare room, no audience, no plan — just an honest voice and the belief that someone out there needed to hear it.

The community grows

Listeners started writing in. Not just to say thank you — but to share their own stories. The podcast became a conversation.

Today

Episodes spanning purpose, recovery, youth, addiction, and the quiet work of becoming. A community of people choosing to move forward.

A quiet moment of reflection on the journey

You belong in this conversation.

Whether you're just finding us or you've been here from the start — there's a place for you. Listen, share, show up.
